A prestigious fine jewelry and timepiece retailer is seeking a skilled Rolex Watchmaker to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work with an official Rolex Jeweler, specializing in the service and repair of Rolex timepieces with precision and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and restorations specifically on Rolex timepieces, including quartz, mechanical, and automatic models.
Conduct diagnostic testing to identify repair needs and ensure the accuracy and functionality of Rolex watches.
Replace and repair components such as movements, crystals, hands, and batteries following Rolex specifications.
Maintain and care for specialized tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure all work meets or exceeds Rolex and industry standards and client expectations.
Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional service and support for high-value Rolex timepieces
Required Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, including timing machines, case presses, and ultrasonic cleaners.
Strong attention to detail, exceptional manual dexterity, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of both historical and modern Rolex timepieces is a plus.
Participate in additional training as required by Rolex to maintain expertise and certification.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Rolex Watchmaker, with a strong portfolio of work on Rolex and luxury timepieces.
Rolex certification is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
Expertise in servicing Rolex and Tudor timepieces, with additional experience in other luxury brands, are a plus.
Certification from a recognized institution (e.g., WOSTEP, SAWTA, or AWCI) is preferred but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
Location: Deer Park, IL
Schedule: Core store hours are Monday – Saturday, with a scheduled day off during the week. Extended hours may apply during the December holiday season.
